MY NEIGHBOR'S LAWN SIGN
AND (HOW I READ IT)
This is the sign I see each morning while walking by my neighbor’s front lawn, and (how I read it):
IN THIS HOUSE WE BELIEVE THAT:
Black lives matter (but only those black lives that support our Progressive narrative of an imagined “systemic racism!“
Women’s rights are human rights (and men don’t count!)
No human is illegal (and anyone can enter this country, take jobs from our most vulnerable citizens, work for slave wages, and commit crimes, but only as long as they don’t live in my neighborhood!)
Love is love (except for anyone who disagrees with us!)
Science is real (but only when it comes from Dr. Fauci, and even when wrong!)
Kindness is everything (except when we are cancelling and jailing innocent political opponents!)
This is My Lawn Sign:
IN THIS HOUSE WE BELIEVE THAT:
All lives matter, black, white, and every shade in between.
Men and women have equal rights under the law
That if you break the law you are doing something illegal and should be punished
That love without limits invariably results in spoiled children and entitled adults.
That science is empirical, and must be based on observed facts, not on emotion.
Kindness is not everything; life is more complicated than that.
That my Progressive neighbors are naïvely optimistic, misguided, entitled hypocrites, who have lost their ability to reason.
That my neighborhood would be a better place if they were to put their house up for sale ASAP and move to California.
That appeasing the Left is ALWAYS a mistake.
